Mickey Barnett is a GOP politician from New Mexico who was involved in the US Attorneys scandal during the administration of President George W. Bush. He also unsuccessfully attempted to get the courts to assign New Mexico’s electoral votes to Bush in the disputed 2000 election. Bush later appointed him to the BOG. Billbray is a Democratic politician from Nevada who lost his seat in the House in 1994.
