Employee actors wanted for advertising campaign

commercialFrom USPS News Link:

USPS is seeking employees with acting experience to participate in commercials which will be one of the elements in an upcoming USPS advertising campaign.

USPS employees give advertisements a genuine touch. A previous slate of commercials featured employees, including Chicago employee Tory Davis and New York Letter Carrier Lorenzo Hudson. Davis appeared as the letter carrier in a holiday campaign ad, while Hudson plays himself in different hats.

Professionally trained or experienced actors, preferably members of the Screen Actors’ Guild (SAG), are welcome to audition for the new advertising campaign. To apply for the upcoming series of commercials, email headshots, SAG certification, a short biography of acting experience and your current USPS position to postal@mccann.com. Be sure to include your contact information, as well as your manager’s.

Applicants must gain approval from their managers prior to selection and production of the commercials.

    This should be easy.

They won’t have to look any further than L’Enfant Plaza. There are a lot of people there with acting experience, especially managers and VPs.

  • CAcarrier

If they were actors they wouldn’t be working at the post office. They should let any carrier that wants to be in the commercial try out even if they don’t have acting experience.
