There were some very tense moments for those living on Chestnut Street Tuesday afternoon.
However, one man who was in the right place at the right time did what he could to help.
Around noon, chaos began.
“Me and my children were sitting under the garage and we heard something go boom and fire just started coming this way,” said resident John Jefferson. “We ran.”
“You could see the fire dripping from the trees getting close to homes.”
The man behind the camera is Postal Worker, Bradley Huston, who was in the area and smelled smoke. “I pulled up to do my normal mail route,” said Huston. “As soon as I got out of the truck, ashes started hitting my face.”
Huston called 911.
