Video: New Haven postal worker retires after 54 years
NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Some say that work ethic and loyalty are hard to find in modern times, and today New Haven postal workers are saluting a colleague who has typified both for more than half-a-century.
News 8′s Jeff Valin sums up the career of Lloyd Seals by the numbers.

“February 13th, 1960, I started,” said Seals.
Fifty-four years and 90,000 work hours later, retirement is doing what neither snow nor rain, nor dark of night could. New Haven postal carrier Lloyd Seals is hanging up his mail bag.
