Obama taps Kennedy widow for postal board

The Hill reports that President Obama has nominated Vicki Kennedy to the USPS Board of Governors:

President Obama has nominated the widow of former Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-Mass.) to serve on the U.S. Postal Service’s Board of Governors.

The White House announced Obama’s intention to nominate Vicki Kennedy in a statement Wednesday night. The former Massachusetts senator endorsed Obama in the 2008 presidential primary over Hillary Clinton

      When did that become a requirement for the BOG? Is that why the current members are all lobbyists and failed politicians?

    Looks like a good choice. Don’t see where she’s sat on the board of UPS or FedEx, or any other company that would put the USPS out of business.
