Second arrest made in Boston letter carrier shooting

BOSTON (MyFoxBostom.com) – A second suspect was arrested overnight in the December 2013 shooting of a U.S. Postal worker.

Keyon Taylor, 21, of Boston, was arrested near Blue Hill Avenue early Monday morning.

Taylor is expected to be arraigned in federal court Monday on charges of conspiracy, kidnapping a federal employee, and assault on a federal employee.

The 21-year-old’s arrest comes less than one week after a Dorchester man was arrested and charged in connection to the attempted robbery.

Maurice Williams Miner-Gittens, 23, was arrested on Jan. 22 and also charged with conspiracy to rob, attempted robbery and kidnapping of a federal employee.
