PMG Pat Donahoe has named Product Information VP Jim Cochrane as the Postal Service’s acting Chief Information Officer.
Cochrane replaces Ellis Burgoyne, who retired from USPS Oct. 1.

He is a former vice president Product Visibility and Operations Performance as well as a former Ground Shipping VP. He served as associate vice president of Marketing and Strategy for the Expedited Package Services strategic unit. He also was associate vice president for Sales in the former Northeast Area, where he was responsible for commercial sales of $12 billion annually.
