Alabama mail carrier arrested, charged with opening mail

Agents with the U.S. Marshals service recently arrested a woman on a charge she unlawfully opened mail while she worked at an area U.S. Post Office.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Clark Morris confirmed federal agents recently arrested Karen A. Carnley, 55, of Opp, and charged her with unlawfully opening U.S. mail. Morris said at the time of the offense Carnely worked as a U.S. mail carrier in Samson.
