Strikes and price hikes impacting competition in the UK parcels market

James Cartledge speaks to James Greenbury, the CEO of UK online parcels service Parcel2Go about how industrial action and privatisation at Royal Mail could damage the company’s parcels business.

Further strike action at Royal Mail and Post Office Ltd could prove lucrative for the UK’s private sector parcel companies, according to the parcel shipping portal Parcel2Go.

The company says it has already seen growth accelerating in its own parcel volumes as customers have contended with seven strikes at Crown post offices since Easter.
