USPS recommends closing Tulsa postal center

The United States Postal Service has recommended closing a Tulsa mail processing center.

A postal worker tells FOX23 the USPS is recommending the closure of the plant, cutting 573 positions. The move will slow down the mail process in Tulsa. All mail will be routed through Oklahoma City.

The Tulsa Metro Chamber says the plant closure could have a $64 million impact on the regional economy.
