News Flash: All new legislation is now funded by the Federal workforce.Anything and everything under the sun is to now be paid for by Federal workers.We would be better off not working at all…but then, God forbid, how would we fund any of these feel-good American programs?We could all just sit at home and collect “pay” and “benefits” like all the lazy louts that we will now be funding.Then they will wring us dry to once and for all eliminate the National Debt.

As a letter carrier, who voluntarily switched from CSRS into FERS in 1986, I feel betrayed. After paying into this system for more that 25 years, congress can vote me out of half my retirement. (My FERS annuity supplement would be about $1,000 a month.) I feel like the kid who had his lunch money stolen by the school bully. This is despicable.

I am so glad the Republicans believe in no tax increases.

Makes me proud to think of personally giving up a $62,000 social security offset to retire at age 55… to pay for road construction.

Maybe next year I can take a paycut to pay for a fence along the Mexican border…

Or maybe… no matching funds to TSP to pay for an aircraft carrier…

I am so excited!
