San Francisco Postal worker charged with passing fake money
An employee at the Alamo post office appeared in federal court Friday on charges that he exchanged fake money made in Nigeria for real currency at his cash register, court records show.
Emmanuel Odion Esezobor, 50, of Hayward did not enter a plea in U.S. District Court in Oakland to a charge of passing counterfeit currency with the intent to defraud. He is free in lieu of a $50,000 bond. His attorney, Assistant Federal Public Defender Ellen Leonida, declined comment.
