The postmasters in the smaller offices actually touch the mail, shovel the sidewalks, clean the lobby the window area, along with the restrooms, deal with the frustrations of the american people who are out of work, struggling to survive through the sky-rocketing costs for drugs and health care along with the zero percent increase in SS benefits for the elderly who have to choose between food or medication. Now tell me we don’t need these facilities around for the outlet of many frustrated Americans!!!!! NO JUSTIFICATION!!! Believe me I can add many, many more reasons why a Post Office is needed in each and every community regardless of financial stability.
