NY State Police respond to serious crash involving a postal delivery vehicle

Hillsdale, New York – On March 7, 2020, the New York State Police investigated a serious personal injury motor vehicle crash involving a United States Postal Service delivery truck on Oxbow Road in the town of Hillsdale.

Esther M. Horn, age 54, of Copake, NY, was traveling southbound on Oxbow road at approximately 12:00 p.m., and left the roadway for unknown reasons before striking a tree.

Ms. Horn sustained serious, but believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.  She was airlifted to Albany Medical Center.

Hillsdale Fire Department, Egremont Fire Department of Massachusetts, and the Community Rescue Squad were all on scene.
