Three Hurt When Houston Postal Building Roof Collapses

The U.S. Postal Service building was occupied when the flat roof gave way during severe weather Thursday, sending three people to the hospital with minor injuries.

The collapse happened just before noon at a U.S. Postal Service mail distribution center on the city’s northeast side, the Houston Fire Department said. The building was occupied when the flat roof gave way, but the people inside were able to escape the wreckage.
