PHOENIX — A Valley woman is still alive thanks to a fast acting United States Postal Service letter carrier.
Kerry Farnham doesn’t live in the north Phoenix neighborhood where she delivers mail, but after working in the area for the last six years she likes to think she’s become part of the community.
“You know they keep an eye on me and I keep an eye them,” she said.
The attentive mail carrier says after a few years you not only get to know people, you also get to know their habits.
“There are people that pick up their mail once a month and I know this about them so I’m not concerned,” said Farnham. “But I know most people pick it up every day.”
