Owner of pitbull that viciously attacked postal worker defends dog: “He’s not vicious”

TROY, Mich. (FOX 2) – The owner of the dog that attacked a postal service worker last Friday defended his pet on Monday.

“He’s a big clown, he’s friendly,” said Kevin, the dog’s owner. “He’s not vicious.”

Not wanting to be identified by media, Kevin said he’s sorry for what his dog did, unsure of why he reacted that way. His guess is that when the mail carrier left the house is when the dog reacted, attacking him.

But he said that was a misunderstanding, and that it is a dog’s job to defend its home.

Yeah, and Ted Bundy was a “nice guy”.

Hey Pavlov! A dog is an animal that can only be trusted to be unpredictable. They are not human and rely only on instinct or conditioning, not human thought. They are not family. They do not need to be licking their owners mouth as they sometimes do. Treat dogs as what they are. 4 legged animals that have been somewhat domesticated.
Remember that when a dog attacks, unless it’s a wild dog , it is ALWAYS the owner’s fault. Euthanize all vicious dog owners and the problem will go away.

Let Carriers Carry side arms for work in high crime areas and flooded with attack dogs. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR ! ! ! Just starting a rumor about side arms, might make it unnecessary to be armed.

However, dogs are intensely territorial and will defense it. Some breeds will defend only by loud barking at a trespasser .
