Postal service saves Christmas for Utah family

A Utah man is thanking the Postal Service tonight after postal workers saved Christmas for him and his family.

Wynn Hubrich was supposed to deposit $700 in Christmas savings into their bank account The Christmas money was in an envelope that he accidentally dropped into a collection box along with some outgoing mail:

The post office in Kaysville tried to help him find it – but it was eventually located at Salt Lake City’s distribution center after the envelope burst open while going through the sorting machines.

The postal workers picked up all the money and it was eventually returned – with every single dollar – to Hubrich
