Management doesn’t care about abiding by the contract, they just say go ahead, grieve it!

Yes, this is true they don’t. Supervisora and MDOs at the Dallas PD&C work the mail constantly. They allow casuals to get more hours than MHAs. The union stewards watch as all this occurs. But don’t try to file a grievance as a MHA because it is allotted to the FT Regulars that refuse to do nonbargain unit work. They allow certain MHAs to curse the other MHAs out along with supervisors and this post office doesn’t have a zero work tolerance. My life and my coworkers life has been threatened at least 3/4 times a week. Many of the MHAs come to work to work and many come to work and sit in the break room for the entire 8 hours. When informed the supervisors don’t address the issue, they just want the one that work to work harder. This facility employs supervisors and MDOs that do not want to supervise. These upper and middle management employees are only there to for a check, not to do their job which is supervise. They would rather do the MHAs job rather than do their job which is to supervise. And lastly, don’t tap to the union they are pointlessly walking and riding around noticing everything but blindly not doing a thing. I’ve attempted to contact the union president to avail.
