Customers are looking for answers and accountability after hundreds of baby chicks died while being shipped to a Sanford hardware store.
“May 15th they were supposed to be delivered and we were supposed to pick them up,” Mullins said.
Last Monday came, but no baby chicks. When they still hadn’t arrived on Thursday, Mullins said she called the store manager.
“She explained to me that they had all died in shipment,” Mullins said.
All 298 of them.
