A Lafayette man wants answers after a neighbor captured video of a mail truck knocking down his mailbox.
Allen Cornett says it happened on December 19. He was told the driver was a contracted postal service employee for the holidays.
Cornett said he filed a claim and has submitted estimates. Interestingly though, the carrier still puts Cornett’s mail in the fallen mailbox after he was asked not to do so.
