MACOMB TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Hundreds of pieces of mail that were supposed to be delivered to homes in a Macomb Township neighborhood in November ended up in a Port-A-Potty. Everything from checks to holiday cards to store coupons were dumped in the toilet.
People in the subdivision said they’ve had problems with mail delivery, but never anything as serious as mail being thrown in a Port-A-Potty. The incident impacted hundreds of lives in Macomb Township.
The pile of mail is now blue because it was fished out of a portable toilet filled with smell-reducing blue chemicals.
Officials said the mail was dumped in the toilet in mid-November.
