Video: UPS driver gets help for woman being held captive by her husband

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Mo. (KMOV.com) -A UPS driver is credited with the rescue of a woman who allegedly had been beaten and held captive in her home by her husband over a 15-hour period.

Franklin County Sheriff’s Department Sergeant T.J. Wild told News 4, “He made a huge difference.

“According to court documents, the abuse began Monday night in the couple’s home near Robertsville. The woman was prevented from leaving or using the phone. Court records say the husband beat her, put a gun to her head and threatened to kill her. He allegedly dragged her back into the house by her hair when she tried to run away.
