Florida postal worker caught on camera tossing packages onto resident’s porch

APOPKA, Fla. – A woman told Channel 9 that she’s outraged that her Apopka neighborhood postal worker continues to toss her fragile mail and packages onto her porch.

Surveillance video caught the postal worker walking up near to the porch and tossing the package a couple of feet, then walking away.

Heather Eberhardt recorded the postal worker throwing the two packages onto her porch earlier this month.

Ok, carrier should take a bit more care but really, if the contents couldn’t survive that “toss” then they shouldn’t be mailed or shipped at all.

come on now you know dang well they go through worse then that when they sort them to the carrier routes!!!!!!

One of the packages looks to be an Amazon package which almost always have an endorsement of “Carrier leave if no response”. You cannot get a response if you don not knock or ring the doorbell, unprofessional conduct on the carriers part.

Wow! It must have been a really slow news day for them to spend this much time on a nothing story. They even took the time to interviewed random customers! Even a box of eggs would have survived being tossed like that. To me, the customer who kept getting the wrong mail was the bigger story!

Actually the story is a lie and exaggeration, as is to be expected from the news media. It was not thrown. It was simply a underhand toss on to the porch. You ought to see how they’re sorted, both manually and automated. As another comment stated, if they can’t handle that underhand toss, they should never be mailed in the first place and/or they’re not properly packaged. But who would ever expect the news media to allow facts to get in the way of a scandalous lie….

Indeed! The media lies, twists and exaggerates the truth
