Texas postal worker killed in Sunday crash

The Cleburne Times Review reports that a postal worker died in a motor vehicle accident in Rio Vista Texas yesterday. The victim has not been officially identified, but his sister has posted on social media that her brother was delivering a package for the USPS at the time of his death:

A Sunday head-on collision near the intersection of Texas 174 and Highland Road near Rio Vista, Texas resulted in the death of one driver.

The driver of a Dodge pickup, traveling north on Texas 174, crossed into the northbound lane while passing another vehicle, according to preliminary DPS findings.

The driver of a U.S. Postal Service truck in the northbound lane attempted to take evasive action but was unable to avoid a collision. The USPS truck driver died at the scene.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner identified the victim as Kevin Kight, 46, of Cedar Hill.
