NY relief postmaster pleads guilty to theft of postal funds

A Wayne County postal employee has pleaded guilty to taking nearly $20,000 in stamp revenues, post office box rental payments, and money orders.

Prosecutors say 26-year-old Jennifer Passeck stole the money while working as a relief postmaster in the Sodus Point post office between March 2013 to March 2015.

Passeck pled guilty to theft of public money. She faces up to ten years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
