Video: NY letter carrier saves mother and son from falling tree

QUEENSBURY – A postal carrier from Warren County is credited with saving the lives of two motorists, who narrowly missed being crushed by a falling tree limb.

NewsChannel 13’s media partners at the Post-Star newspaper report John Richichi was delivering mail in Queensbury Tuesday when he heard a cracking sound.He realized it was coming from a tree right next to him.

So he ran into the middle of the road and stopped a car just as the huge limb fell to the ground.
