I’m a mail carrier, so I don’t mean to make light of this, but 3 cops standing around, and crime scene tape? I was bitten in both legs, 8 stitches in one leg, and didn’t even get law enforcement to respond

if they weren’t even sure of the breed of dog, it sounds like it was still running loose……..maybe the reason for the cops….???

  • common sense

The only way dog attacks will stop is when the owners are held accountable- which means being treated as if they themselves had perpetrated the attack. In this case, the owner should be facing a charge of assault with a deadly weapon. Insurance companies should also be required to put homeowners with vicious dogs in a separate risk pool. Then people might think twice about having pitbulls.
