A man is recovering after being hit by a mail truck Tuesday morning. It happened on Washington Street in Peoria around 9:00 a.m.

“The mail truck hit him,” Mendoza mentioned. “I saw it coming at a pretty good speed and then I stopped the truck immediately and got out and got help for as soon as possible.”
