Video: Woman bites, assaults postal worker, police officer

SEYMOUR, Ind. — A woman bit a postal employee and a police officer while intoxicated Saturday night. Columbus police say 22-year-old Jessica D. Wetzel ran inside the post office located at 450 Jackson Street around 10:30 p.m. Saturday and entered a restricted area of the building.

An employee confronted Wetzel, but that employee was battered and bit on the arm. The employee locked a warehouse door to contain Wetzel until police arrived. Wetzel told officers she had been celebrating her birthday with friends in Columbus earlier in the evening.
