Video: USPS resumes mail delivery in Virginia town after TV news report

Campbell County, VA – Mail is back at a local community, but not without some discussion of an on-going issue.

Our investigation into mail not being delivered for an entire neighborhood got results. The Postal Service is back on the job in Holiday Forest. It’s a story ABC 13 first told you about Tuesday night at 11.

In an email, USPS corporate communications Tad Kelley confirmed what many in the small community hoped all along: mail is back.

“The roads seem to have been attended to,” read the statement. “We regret any inconvenience to our customers, however, we must ensure safety for our employees as we fulfill our mission of delivery.”

Several residents in this community, including the president of the Homeowner’s Association says work was not done on any of the roads since mail delivery stopped last Friday or after our story. – ABC13
