Downtown Milwaukee PO on the market for $12.8 million

The Milwaukee U.S. Postal Service building, among the downtown area’s largest properties with the long-term potential for redevelopment, has been listed for sale with a $12.8 million asking price.

The building at 341 W. St. Paul Ave. is locally owned and leased to the U.S. Postal Service. The post office is expected to remain there, making it a potential investment, but the building has high redevelopment potential if the tenant ever moves out, said James Barry, president of Milwaukee brokerage DTZ Barry. DTZ Barry is launching an effort to sell the building on behalf of the owner, Menomonee RP LLC.
