Man arrested in Peoria postal worker robbery


PEORIA, Ill. — One man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery in January.

Peoria Police said Jeremy Brasher, 31, was approached by two men in a silver Impala as he was delivering mail on McClure Avenue around 2:00 p.m. back on January 29th.

Police conducted a joint investigation with the United States Postal Inspectors which led to the arrest of the two suspects.

Brian K. Thomas Jr., 20, was arrested May 6 on two counts of Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Possession of a Firearm Without a FOID, Armed Robbery, and Aggravated Robbery.
