New York PSE pleads guilty to theft

uspsoigA Postal Support Employee (PSE) in upstate New York has pleaded guilty to stealing over $2,000 from the post office she worked at:

HENDERSON — Nancy E. Lane Moore, 53, of 8814 Route 178, pleaded guilty to one count of petit larceny Monday evening in Town Court.

Mrs. Lane Moore was charged Aug. 20 by state police with fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony.

Police said the charges stemmed from an investigation by the U.S. Postal Service’s Office of the Inspector General into allegations that Ms. Lane Moore stole $2,066 in June and July while working at the Henderson Post Office. Police did not specify how the thefts occurred.
