Missouri rural carrier arrested on drug charges

A Rural Carrier Associate (RCA) from Edina, Missouri was arrested on drug charges last week:

The Lewis County Sheriff’s Department said Julie Marie Campbell, 41, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of possession of a controlled substance (hydrocodone), a Class C felony.The department was contacted by the Post Office in LaBelle saying the Campbell was potentially impaired. Authorities alledgedly found several other prescription medications, as well as opened mail from several people in Lewis and Knox counties, while executing a search warrant on Campbell’s vehicle.

According to USPS records, Campbell has worked for the post office since June 2011.
