Connecticut RCA arrested in missing mail probe

The Day of News London, Connecticut reports that a postal worker from the Uncasville, CT post office has been charged with first degree criminal mischief in connection with reports of mail being discarded along the carrier’s route:

Montville – Investigation into reports of undelivered and discarded mail in Montville has led to the arrest of a former mail carrier.

Montville police said Luis Perez, 33, of Groton turned himself in on March 22 to face one count of first-degree criminal mischief.

According to USPS records, Perez is a recently hired Rural Carrier Associate
