Colorado Springs: another LLV fire

The Gazette of Colorado Springs reports that another USPS LLV burst into flames yesterday:

Video of the fire is available at the Gazette web site.

An engine compartment fire spread to the rest of the vehicle at North Academy Boulevard and Carefree Circle, said Fire Lt. Tarrick Patterson. Most of the mail had been delivered when a fire truck arrived on scene about 12:45 p.m., Patterson said, but some was damaged in the blaze. Firefighters were able to recover boxes of mail, he said.

No one was injured.
