BOCA RATON, Fla. — Two postal workers say they were robbed early Wednesday morning at a United States Postal Service processing center at 2800 N. Military Trail.
Boca Raton police say the two postal workers showed up at the processing center at around 3 a.m.
One of the employees went inside, while the other remained in the parking lot. That employee then walked toward the building holding a cooler when he says a gunman approached.
He claims a male accomplice then joined the pair as they walked to the victim’s truck.
The worker says the men took his wallet and a black baseball cap with the word ‘Lost" on it, ate his lunch and then threw the cooler and his cellphone into the bushes.
