I can also attest to this delay in Houston. I sent a First Class Mail small package, barcoded with USPS tracking. It shows the package was accepted in Wichita, Kansas on December 3, and departed here December 4, but it was NOT worked in North Houston until this morning, December 10, 6 days later. Customer is demanding a refund. I am not seeing any delays in other locations that I have shipped the past two weeks. But yes, Houston has a problem.

They need to update the First Class package standards. I can only guess it’s due to volume, FCM parcels are not moving as quickly as Priority like they used to. I’ve also noticed packages in general pass through plants without any scans despite the push to scan everything.
