ROCKLEDGE, Fla. —
Two U.S. Postal Service workers are off the job after they were caught in a drug deal on the job, police said.
Investigators said a postal inspector witnessed the transaction inside the Rockledge post office branch on Murrell Road.
According to investigators, one of the workers arrested told them he had purchased drugs from Tonya Wheeler in the past, while she was delivering mail around the city of Rockledge.
Wheeler was arrested, accused of trafficking in oxycodone and hydrocodone while at her job at the Rockledge post office.
Police said the postal inspector witnessed Wheeler passing pills to a coworker Wednesday.
