White Plains NY postal workers use CPR, AED to save co-worker

goodnewsWhen an employee at a postal facility in White Plains, NY, collapsed, stopped breathing and began bleeding from the mouth, two of his co-workers sprang into action. Maintenance Operations Supervisor James Lamake and Building Equipment Mechanic Anthony Volpe used CPR and a defibrillator to revive the man. Emergency responders arrived and took the man to a hospital, where he underwent heart surgery. He’s expected to recover.
