Wisconsin postmaster accused of theft

News reports say that a postal worker in Menomonie, Wisconsin has been charged with stealing more than $50,000 in postal funds:

Robert J. Colaizy, 62, is charged with making a false entry in an account and record connected to his duties as an employee of the Postal Service.

The indictment alleges that on Jan. 15, Colaizy falsely inflated the number of stamps in inventory to conceal previous stamp sales and his theft of more than $50,000.

According to USPS records, Colaizy is the postmaster of Menomonie, and started working for the USPS in 1975.
