Dennis Ross subcommittee gets its numbers wrong

Dennis Ross’s subcommittee holds another hearing on the USPS and the mailing industry tomorrow- hopefully they’ll be more careful with their numbers at the hearing than they were in the press release. The USPS actually lost $2.2 billion in the second quarter, not $2.6 billion:

WASHINGTON- Four major mailing industry representatives will testify tomorrow morning to the postal service subcommittee of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee on challenges facing that industry. Yesterday the United States Postal Service announced that it lost $2.6 billion in the three months ending March 31.
